Many people are asking how much Adsense makes money vs. impression. Ahhh, here the response. I’m not going to show my Adsense earnings and impressions as it’s prevented by the Adsense terms.
Let’s see how much a blog worth is.
Adsense for content is near or in the post: 6.7 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)
If you get more than you are lucky!
Adsense for content is in the top: 3.4 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)
Adsense for content is in the bottom: 0.85 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)
Adsense for content is in the side bar: 3.1 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)

Let’s see for a site:
Adsense is included near a download: 9.85 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)
Adsense is included near an application*: 14.8 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)
Adsense is included near a newsreader: 45 clicks / 1,000 impressions (average)
*application: like a widget maker for example

A forum:
Adsense is in the forum post: 32.14 clicks / 1,000 impression (average)

Usually forums get higher clicks per impressions.
Finally all depends on Adsense optimization but the pay per click is also important. Read the next post?
