Domain name is so important if you want to start serious busnuiss on the net.
You have to think many times on it.
Now see, return to your self. How many site do you still remember? Do you remember subdomains sites even if they short?
If so, you have a genial memory. But it isn't the case for 1.3 milliard people browsing the web.
The problem is in the domain. So why not buy one?
You want it free? If you want it .com there's only one site offring them for free it's Microsoft and you'll need a credit card.
Don't try to search else where it the web, because you won't find. There's no free domain.
Why? Because domain subscriber need to pay for the ARPA Net to register their domain!
10$ a year isn't so much. I think the internet connection cost is much higher, no?
